Blind taste test (Sprite vs 7up)

Last time, we had a blind taste test for coke. And today, we will have a test about soda!

There are some brands s which are famous for soda. As you already know, soda is kind of soft drink and it is a big competitor of coke. As it has no color, it might be difficult to distinguish among different brands. Then let’s start!

A(Sprite)	B(7up)

Dawin (23, Female, Korean)

A>B

A is not familiar flavor, kind of a refreshing tangy lemon flavor and relatively less sweet. As I like lemon ade, I like A than B

Jimin (21, Female, Korean)

A is just a normal soda that I used to drink. But B is special. A is just sweet, but B feels like light and relatively less carbonated so it was easy to drink. I can’t tell you the exact reason of preference, but I like B more.

Ju (23, Female, Korean)

Actually, I can not feel the difference between them exactly but after I drink them, A is relatively  sweeter and B is relatively more refreshing. So I feel better when I drink B.

Jisoo (23, Female, Korean)

I can not feel any flavor of A because it is carbonated. A is just normal soda I think. But when I drink B, I can feel lemon flavor much and I love it, refreshing tangy lemon flavor.

Ji (23, Male, Korean)

A is not that delicious as it is just water plus sparkling. But B has lemon flavor with sparkling so I like it more.

Conclusion 

Did you see this? I always thought that Sprite is No.1 brand for soda and understandably, the taste of Sprite is better than anything for sure. But people love 7up more! (4/5) Can you believe it? I felt again that brand does not always tell everything! If you don’t agree, then you can also test for soda!

Hi! we are back!

Today we are going to talk about "Coffee"

 

There are lots of brands of coffee all over the world.

Can you distinguish the specific coffee taste?

We visited EMTE supermaret and got two different brands of coffee.

 

The first one is EMTE COFFEE made by emte supermarket by themselves.

The other one is Nescafe which is the most famous coffee brand in the world.

 

 

Today we are going to compare the taste of these two coffee brands.

Can people distinguish and explain

about the specific differences of these two brands?

The left one was Emte Coffee and the right one was Nescafe coffee.

She closed her eyes, drank and compared the taste of them.

She could find the differences between them!!

The first coffee she drank was Nescafe.

She said this coffee has less scents than another one

 and the feeling of swallowing was much softer than another one(EMTE coffee)

The second coffee she drank was EMTE coffee.

It's taste was much deeper than Nescafe.

 

There are clear differences of taste among them.

She prefer to drink the Nescafe coffee much more than Emte coffee

The taste of two brands of coffee was same.

And also when she compare the smell of each coffee, it was totally same she said.

The first coffee she chose was Nescafe.

Nescafe has much lighter taste and it was really soft feeling to drink she said.

when she compare the taste, Nescafe was much sweeter and softer than Emte coffee.

The second coffee she drank was EMTE coffee.

She said the second coffee she drank was much bitter than the first one.

The smell was strong than Nescafe and she stated that Emte cafe has a burnt smell.

 

There are clear differences of taste among them.

She prefer to drink the Nescafe coffee much more than Emte coffee

The taste of two brands of coffee was same.

She couldn't feel any differences and taste, smell, feeling was SAME she said.

 

She couldn't find any differences between them.

 

 

 

 

<RESULT>

 

 

The outcomes were half and half percentage of answer among the students.

Some people can distinguish the taste of different coffee brands and other people coudln't do that.

 

People who could find the differences have big interests in having coffee every day.

Since they love and enjoy coffee regurlarly, they could find the specific differences between Emte coffee and Nescafe I THINK!

What is best Orange Juice(coolbest vs markant)

Hi guys!. Today i`m gonna blind test with orange juices.

orange juices in netherland are more delicious than korea orange juice.
so when i went to EMTE.
 i easily found two orange juices called coolbest and markant orange juice.
coolbest is 20cent more expensive than markant.

when i drank two things, coolbest is more delicious to me

So i`m curious about that those have different flavor. 

i carried out a certain blind test with five people.

Can they distinguish the taste of orange juice??

LET`S GET STARTED!

i prepare coolebest and markant orange juice.

LEFT - markant orange juice
RIGHT - coolbest

By all appearances, we can see that there is no difference.

Left - it is absolutely different from right one. it tastes sour but less sweet than right one.
it mixes with water not 100% orange. 
it is markant

Right - it is more sweet than left one. but it has no smell of surface of orange.
it is more delicious than left one.
it is coolbest.

Left - it is more delicious than right one. it has more orange than right one.
i think it is markant.

Right - it tastes sour orange. so it seems that using 100% orange.

The more i drink it, it feels fresh.

Left - it mixes with water and orange. it is not 100% orange.

Right - there is more fresh orange than left one. it has sour flavor.
it is more delicious.
i think it is cool best.

Left - i think orange purp is alive. it has more sour flavor than right one.

Right - it has strong orange taste. last taste is bitter little bit.

Left - there is more pulp than right one. but these have similar taste.

Right - it has more sweet taste. i don`t like sweet taste.
so it`s not good to me

Conclusion

half people distinguish what it is. but they have each criteria of distinguishing it.

Overall, most of people like chewing pulp when they drink orange juice.
pulp is important factor of deciding what is delicious.
also pulp in orange juice means fresh.

it is very interesting experiment!

Lays Blind TEST

Hi guys!. Today i`m gonna blind test with Lays.

i like potato chip so much.
so when i went to EMTE, i found that lays have 2 series in Lays natural.
there are Lays Naturel and Lays 33% less fat Naturel.

So i`m curious about that those have different flavor. 

i carried out a certain blind test with four people.

Can they distinguish the taste of Lays??

LET`S GET STARTED!

i prepare Lays Naturel and Lays 33% less fat Naturel.

LEFT - LAYS ORIGINAL
RIGHT - LAYS 33% LESS FAT.

By all appearances, we can see that there is little difference with thickness.

Left - It`s more delicious than PB goods in EMTE. i think there is little oil in chips.
it is Lays naturel

Right - it tastes like like roasted chips. it has more less salt than Left one. also more less oil than Left one.
it is Lays 33 less fat.

Left - It has good texture of food. it has suitable salt and oil
i think it is Lays 33 less fat.

Right - it looks more like thick, it is more delicious to me. it has smell roasted chips. 

The more i chew it, it has more attractive flavor.

i think it is Lays naturel

Left - it is not salty enough. it is more delicious and has less thick.
i think it is Lays 33 less fat.

Right - it has more salty and like roasted chips than Left one.

i think it is Lays naturel.

Left - i usually enjoy Lays naturel. so i remember this flavor. 

it is the most delicious chips i ever eaten.

Right - it looks more like thick. it has smell roasted chips. 

it is more healthy food than Left one.

Conclusion

half people distinguish what it is. but they have similar flavor each chips. 
it means than these have unique flavor each chips. 

we can choose Lays series up to their appetite.it is very interesting experiment!

Hi guys!. Today i`m gonna blind test with coca cola.

In the past, coca cola has just original one.

But nowadays, many soft drinks are released.

So coca cola releases many series like coca cola zero, diet, zero.

So i`m curious about that those have different flavor. 

i carried out a certain blind test with many people.

Can they distinguish the taste of COCA COLA??

LET`S GET STARTED!

I prepare Coca cola life, zero and lightwithout Coca cola original.

A - Life

B - Zero

C - Light

By all appearances, we cannot distinguish it. it`s very interesting.

i think most of people coca cola original taste.it is very interesting experiment!

long time no see! today i`m gonna do blind test with distinguishing water!.

i bought BAR-LE-DUC, SPA from EMTE. these are the most popular water in enschede.

but i have a curious about that people can distinguish flavor of water.

so i also prepare tap water. i carried out a certain blind test with five people.

A - TAP WATER

B - BAR-LE-DUC

C- SPA

By all appearances, we cannot distinguish it. it`s very interesting.

So, LET`S GET STARTED!

A) It tastes like similar tap water.

B) i think it is same thing with A. same flavor with A. I think it is the cheapest one.

C) It is from super market. it tastes like sharp taste. it is very delicious.

B) It tastes not good. it smells something like tap water. i think it is tap water.

C) It has no differences with B. i can drink it smoothly. it is SPA.

B) It is very fresh. there is no smell. i think it is from supermarket.

C) It is luxury taste. i can drink it smoothly. it is the most expensive one.

C) i think most of them have similar taste. Only fresh can distinguish flavor.

Conclusion

Most of the people cannot recognize which is the real water. all of people think they can distinguish flavor of water before blind test. but they fail. i think most of people buy water for good taste. just considering brand. it is very interesting experiment!
